Global Error during Distribution

Problem
The distribution runs fine for some time and then a Global Error appears.
Solution
This error can have different reasons:
Powerful SQL Server with more than one CPU
Microsoft CRM needs a special configuration option on the SQL server to run correctly on Multi-Core SQL-Servers. Please have a look here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd979074.aspx
Invalid Email Addresses
Certain email addresses cause the CRM to throw unforseen error messages. Check the email addresses for Asterisks (*) and similar characters.
Overload on the CRM system / on the SQL server
We have seen configurations where CRM and SQL server where virtualized together with Exchange on one host. The host had 4 GB RAM only. This causes SQL server and CRM to answer so slowly that it breaks the whole process. If this applies in your situation too, try if adding some RAM and some more harddisks reduces the load on the host machine.
Socket Exceptions
In some environments, we have seen Socket Exceptions similar to 'Only one usage of a Socket is allowed'. This is caused by the CRM Service having Keep Alive connections turned on by default. This is fixed in recent versions of Email Marketing. If it applies in your case, please contact support@customaze.de.
