Distribution fails with "Cold not Init Distribution"

Problem
The installation went fine with no error message and you can use the Email Marketing add on in CRM. When distributing the campaign activity, the add on fails with the error message 'Could not init distribution'.
Solution
This is most likely a permission issue in CRM. Every E-Mail Marketing user needs the 'Send E-mail as Another User' permission. The recommended approach is to create a security role within CRM that provides the necessary permissions.
